WILD SEEDLINGS AIMS TO GET MORE KIDS OUTSIDE CONNECTING WITH NATURE
Wild Seedlings exists with a sole aim, to get more Australian Children outside connecting with nature.
Research has shown that Children's mental and physical development greatly improves when playing and learning outside regularly. It has also been proven that adults who played outside regularly as children expressed a continued love and empathy for the environment later in life.
natural play space design
transform existing playgrounds into magical spaces that spark creativity and imagination
provide recycled materials and parts for children to build and improvise their own worlds
encourage children’s journey of self discovery and confidence while exploring and playing in the environment
integrate permaculture principals into children’s everyday lives and cultivate their natural empathy of the environment
“Passion is lifted from the earth itself by the muddy hands of the young; it travels along grass-stained sleeves to the heart. If we are going to save environmentalism and the environment, we must also save an endangered indicator species: the child in nature.”

we thoroughly enjoy collaborating with firms and business on project involving children and the environments
Wild Seedlings is serious about the importance of getting children outside. Through our own learning and research, it became extremely clear that adults and children can only truely feel connected to environment when they develop empathy and understanding of it. Therefore its imperative for children to begin their experience with nature as soon as possible.
With the Average Aussie Kid spending 52 hours a week in front of screens and with some children becoming 'Nature Deficient' we need to provide natural play and learning opportunities in their everyday lives.
OUR BIG IDEAS
Opportunities can be found in Schools, Childcare Centres, and other spaces where chidlren spend a majority of their time.
Through creative thinking we can bring nature closer to children and create memorable moments.
