WHAT ARE NATURAL PLAY SPACES?
Natural play spaces are play areas designed to imitate nature, though they could also be a temporary or permanent place of play in nature itself.

OUR PROCESS
It is vital that initial discussions and meetings are held with all stakeholders to consider all ideas and confirm exactly what is to be achieved in your play space.
Brainstorming sessions, wish lists and even mud maps can consolidate ideas and provide Wild Seedlings with a solid starting point for the design process.
2. CONSULTATION
A consultation with all involved at your site is a great opportunity to meet stakeholders, view the sites current functionality and discuss all ideas and our offered services.
It is ideal if any strict constraints such as budgets and timelines can be confirmed at this time.

DESIGN
Consultation site notes and your planning notes will form the your initial Concept Plan. An additional meeting can be held to discuss the concept plan and make changes where applicable.

The initial concept plan is then fined tuned into the final plan and can include full specifications of materials, playground equipment, plants and surfaces.
Wild Seedlings can provide further documentation and planning such as planting plans, budget summaries/OPC’s, design certification and more.
The suite of plans including the final plan can be used by either your awarded contractor or landscapers in the building of your play space.
Wild Seedlings can be engaged to manage the project in conjunction with the builders or liaise with builders when required. We can also work with working bee’s for additional support in your build.
We can provide maintenance plans and recommend experience landscapers to ensure that your new play space continues to provide years of enjoyment.
